The Daily Summer and Sebastian Faena Celebrate Luxury and Love

On Saturday, The Daily Summer celebrated its Luxury & Love issue with guest editor and photographer Sebastian Faena, cover-star Miles McMillan, and Maybelline New York at the charming The Inn at Windmill Lane in Amagansett. An uber-chic set of guests came to join in on the fun, such as Maybelline president David Greenberg and VP of integrated consumer communications Steven Waldberg, mod du moment and Maybelline’s new global brand ambassador Ihua Wu, model Nastya Siten, actor Nolan Funk, Hearst’s Michael Clinton, IMG Models president Ivan Bart, Lisa Benson, Wilhelmina CEO Bill Wackermann, Delfina Blaquier, model Leilani Bishop, EyeSwoon founder Athena Calderone, blogger Grace Atwood, Avie Acosta, Levi Dylan, Leslie Stevens, Denise Seegal, Maybelline influencer Nicole Alyse, artist Joseph La Piana, Malcolm Carfrae, John Wattiker, influencers Luanna Perez-Garreaud, Anaya Roderick, Camila Bravo, Maryam Maquillage, Nicole Sereda, and Lisa Ramos, and celeb trainer and model Akin Akman.

McMillan, who was also celebrating his The Daily Summer debut, broke down what it was like to work with Faena. “The shoot was amazing. I’ve worked with Sebastian for a long time and we’ve been friends for longer,” he said. “We really got each other on the shoot and ended up making beautiful pictures. I was really proud of them. [Working with him] is very in the moment. Sometimes he’ll get an idea and we’ll change and go with it and we see where it ends up. It ended with me in a mermaid costume!”
