Congratulations to photographer Patrick McMullan, who shared on Facebook over the weekend that he became a grandfather. McMullan’s son Liam, who many on the New York social circuit have watched grow up, and Virigina Chambers welcomed Zelda Rose McMullan, who was born on Saturday night at Mount Sinai Roosevelt hospital. The proud grandpa wrote: “The 24 hour natural Birth labor took a lot out of Virginia, but she is doing great and Liam is over the moon. He said the baby is the most beautiful baby he ever saw! (He was also a beautiful baby. But then you all know that!) Granny Laurie Ogle will be the baby nurse. I will be driving in to bring the young family home to rest later today. Cant wait to meet her. The baby was named in honor of the late Zelda Kaplan who died 95 years young at a fashion show. God bless her, God bless Zelda Rose McMullan, God bless America, and well, God bless you. too.” Sounds like he’s taken to this grandparent thing very quickly.
