Carine Roitfeld Crowns A New Set Of Beauty Queens For Harper’s Bazaar

She might not be a beauty editor, but Carine Roitfeld sure knows the power of a gorgeous face when she sees one. And it’s pretty fitting that her May global story for Harper’s Bazaar is titled Beauty Queens: Where Fashion Meets Beauty. Which lucky mods will be gracing all 32 global editions of the mag? Gigi Hadid, Jing Wen, Laura James, Anna Cleveland, Ondria Hardin, Antonia Wilson, Kitty Hayes, and Paige Reifler. Roitfeld worked with her frequent collaborator Stephen Gan to creatively direct this feature, which was shot by photog Brigitte Niedermair. In addition to rocking quite a few avant-garde beauty looks, like draped layers of braids and inch-thick swipes of eyeliner, the eight models are decked out in threads from Dior, Fendi, Givenchy, and Louis Vuitton, most of which feature a turtleneck neckline.
