10 Things You Don’t Know About…Chriselle Lim

By  |  5 Comments

On the heels of the launch of her creative studio CINC Studios, influencer and fashion darling Chriselle Lim takes on our latest installment of “10 Things.” Take it away, Chriselle!

  1. I was in the marching band: I played the clarinet during high school and my mom forced me to be in marching band, which I was quite embarrassed about at the time.
  2. I would ditch class to go work: I’ve always been into working and would find myself ditching class just so I could go take on extra hours to make more money at my job.
  3. My first job was making smoothies at Surf City Squeeze: Then I took on a second job at Express. I saved up all my money to buy Juicy Couture terry tracksuits.
  4. I am horrible with math: I always thought I wanted to be a buyer until I took my first merchandising marketing class and realized it was all math.
  5. I have two companies: One is Chriselle INC., where I have a team of 10 full-time employees, and the other is my newly-launched production studio called CINC Studios.
  6. I love being behind the camera: Although I’m in front of the camera a lot, I do prefer to be behind it, because that’s when I can get really creative and think outside of the box. This is one of the reasons why I started CINC Studios… so I can really focus and dedicate myself on the creative process and produce the most thoughtful and unique digital content for other beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands.
  7. I’m not a morning person: But I wake up at 5:30 a.m. from Monday through Friday, regardless. After having a baby, the only consistent time I ever have to myself is between 6 and 7 in the morning. I usually take that hour to work out!
  8. It takes me about five minutes to apply my makeup every morning: But I spend almost 30 minutes every night on my skincare regime.
  9. I leave my phone in the bathroom after 7:00 P.M.My team knows it is almost impossible to reach me after 7:00 P.M. as that is my “phone-free family time.”
  10. I’m a self-help nut: I’m constantly reading books on leadership amd listening to podcasts on how to grow myself and my business. It’s kind of an addiction.

I really want you to make a blog on how you started all these blogging and all, it would inspire bloggers who couldn’t achieve much and discouraged bloggers.
I hope you get this message ❤️🌍

You inspired me when I found out you started making smoothies as your first job. That shows how hard working you are and you showed me that dreams are really not within our reach.
