Tory Burch Spring/Summer 2018

by The Daily Front Row

Tory Burch took her show al fresco this season to the manicured garden of the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. Short of showing in the Hamptons, the setting could not have been more perfect for the designer. This season, Burch was inspired by the late famed interior designer David Hicks, whose son Ashley granted Burch and her team access to his library. The result was a divine meeting of minds. Hicks and Burch’s aesthetics are so similar, in fact, that it’s a wonder this inspiration hadn’t come sooner or perhaps it was always there from the beginning. The result? Graphic patterns and graphic patterns illustrating both designers’ taste for hip uptown chic. The bonus? Flattering silhouettes for every age.

Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Stay tuned for the review…
