Tome Fall/Winter 2017

The runways have been embracing plus-size and women of all ages more than ever this season—some with better results than others. Tome joined in and the star of the show was Jacky O’Shaughnessy, the elegant gray-haired woman styled in a blush pink PVC trench over a fur vest, black pants, and a white button-down. It’s proof that you can look hip at any age, but also a testament to the fact that she made us 20- to 30-somethings want to go out and buy it. Tributes to the female form came in a series of looks like a fur jacket with a silhouette on the front. While the show celebrates all shapes, ages, and sizes, those looks had the added bonus of a trompe l’œil slimming effect.
