Lucky’s Eva Chen tapped Kristie Dash to become her assistant, social media notifier, and precise scheduler, all while Dash was still in college. Now with a diploma in hand, Dash is perfecting the science of the assistant, from difficult coffee orders to frequent run-ins with Anna Wintour.

Cipriani’s 42nd Street location, ever the generous host for countless black tie dinners, continued tradition by holding the 17th Annual Accessories Council ACE Awards. The evening honored a slew of designers, editors, and genuine accessory junkies, celebrating their contributions to the industry. Each honoree is nominated and selected by their peers, members of the press, retailers and the Accessories Council Board of Directors. The likes of Hamish Bowles, Kate Young, Iman, Rag & Bone, Warby Parker, and Nordstrom, among others, took home a sparkly awards from the dressy bash.

Lucky has a new editor-in-chief atop its masthead, replacing Brandon Holley, and the surprise factor isn’t terribly high: Eva Chen will helm the shopping glossy. Chen is best known as Teen Vogue’s beauty director; she clocked six years at the petite Vogue title. Since April, Chen has been enlisted (by Anna Wintour, no less) to consult on Lucky.
