Phillip Lim Spring/Summer 2017

Hello, SoCal! Phillip Lim has been tapping into his LA roots for inspo over the past few seasons, and Spring ’17 was no different. The designer sent mods careening down a petal-strewn runway wearing an array of whites, thigh-high hemlines, denim, and florals, which were particularly strong set against black and white. Ruffles and off the shoulder sleeves added a certain romance to the collection, but the bralette-bikini hybrids layered under open tailored trenches and bomber jackets ensured it was far from saccharine.
