Omar’s La Ranita transformed into a jewelry showcase last eve, when perfumer Kilian Hennessy and jewelry designer Loree Rodkin hosted an intimate dinner to celebrate their first collaboration: a scented jewelry line. Rumer Willis came out to celebrate, and gave a special acoustic performance of Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black,” a song special to Kilian and his wife Elisabeth Jones-Hennessy, who was also there to toast the collab. After cocktails, guests enjoyed a menu including burrata, tuna tartare, scallops, skirt steak, and key lime pie, which all lived up to Omar’s reputation for supreme cuisine. Other guests included Jason Wu and hubby Gustavo Rangel, model Anastasia Eremenko, Out of Order editor Dorian Grinspan, Princess Ebaa Alawaji, Fleur Du Mal’s Jennifer ZuccariniLauren Remington Platt, and Paul Wilmot, among others.

The six-piece By Killian x Loree Rodkin collection of scented fine jewelry embraces Rodkin’s signature shield-like designs, and utilizes materials that range from sterling silver to pave diamonds. Inside each piece is a ceramic inset that, when sprayed with the By Kilian fragrance, carries the scent. The collection launches November 1 at Bergdorf Goodman, By Kilian boutiques, and ByKilian.com.
