On Saturday night, Jessica Chastain and the cast of Miss Sloane celebrated their new film with a special screening at the new SAG-AFTRA theater in NYC, hosted by The Cinema Society and Piaget. The film, which stars Jake Lacy, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Sam Waterston, and was directed by the Academy Award-nominated John Madden, centers on the secretive and powerful lobbying industry, and how Capitol Hill games are not only played, but won. Chastain—who donned a black and white Elie Saab jumpsuit at the shindig—plays Elizabeth Stone, the most sought-after lobbyist in Washington, D.C., who has a successful track record but find that winning might not be so easy when taking on the most powerful opponent of her career.
Guests who came out for the flick included Valentino and Giancarlo Giammetti, Lee Radziwill, Brooke Shields, Edie Falco, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, Sebastian Stan, Bobby Flay, David Muir, Michelle Collins, and Julie Henderson, who then made their way to the after-party on the 86th floor of NYC’s new skyscraper, 432 Park Avenue.
