Jane Pratt, the mastermind behind xoJane and xoVain, and previously Jane and Sassy magazines, is leaving Time Inc. She is reportedly looking for a new publisher to buy the sites, according to WWD, including Vice Media, Bustle, Elevation Partners, and Goop. Her reasons for leaving have to do with conflicts over how Time Inc. was managing her team and brand, which joined the company in 2015 and was placed in the InStyle Collection of brands this year, according to the report.
Time Inc. confirmed that Pratt is leaving, and that no new content would be posted to xoJane for the rest of the year, but in 2017 it would be folded into InStyle.
