New York City’s illuminated nighttime skyline was the apropos backdrop chez Donna Karan this season. The mostly-black collection will be adored Donna’s die-hard, sophisticated New York-based clientele, and certainly will appeal beyond Gotham; what’s not to love about chic, textural studies in layering, rendered in noir? A thick brown leather shearling jacket and a heavy white suede shearling were particularly stellar. If only we had them to combat these frigid temps right now…
