The Daily and Faena Art Host Art Basel Miami Beach Soirée

by The Daily Front Row

On November 29, The Daily Front Row and Faena Art join forces to kick off the brands’ initiatives at Art Basel Miami Beach with an unforgettable soirée. Celebrating the launch of The Daily’s Miami edition, featuring Act One, a creative collaboration with Sebastian Faena, as well as the opening of the Faena Art Dome, the after-hours soiree will be hosted by Alan Faena, Ximena Caminos, Juan Gatti, and Brandusa Niro, and presented by Persol, Mercedes-Benz, and Papyrus.

Celebrating the intersection of art and fashion, The Daily Front Row: Miami highlights the most influential players in both arenas, from groundbreaking artists to game-changing designers, executives, and stylemakers. “The Daily is known for chronicling fashion’s top insiders wherever they happen to be, and during Basel, they are most certainly in Miami Beach,” says Niro, The Daily’s editor-in-chief. “Our irresistible mix of revealing features and essential intel will make our Miami edition a must-read for the art and fashion crowds alike.”

Persol will be on hand to unveil its Calligrapher Edition glasses, which are inspired by the scribes’ delicacy of stroke. Featuring time-honored materials that are reworked and reinvented, the collection is fronted by talented artisan Paul Antonio. Papyrus, the social expressions company known for its meticulously handcrafted greeting cards, is a brand inspired by their love and passion for fine art. They’ll be on site with illustrator Deanna First, creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind Art Basel inspired illustrations for attendees.

Additional partners include The Turtle Conservancy, an environmental organization founded by Eric Goode, and Coral Morphologic, the leading creator of underwater media chronicling Earth’s imperiled coral reefs.
