The LIM Fashion Education Foundation (FEF) is partnering with Carmen Marc Valvo for its first luncheon/fashion show on April 8. Guests will be able to purchase dresses and jewelry from the designer’s collection, and all net proceeds and 10 percent of sales will benefit the foundation, which provides scholarships to LIM College students.
“Not only are his designs gorgeous, but Carmen and his team also have a special relationship with LIM College,” said Pamela Linton, acting president of the LIM FEF. “They have employed our students and previously helped with fundraising for the LIM FEF. As a result of their generous support, 150 lucky luncheon attendees will be able to buy a Carmen Marc Valvo dress—or two or three—and jewelry, have fun, and help provide scholarships for promising young people who, without financial support, might not be able to take the first step in fulfilling their dreams of a career in the business of fashion.”
The fashionable luncheon will take place at The Terrace Club in NYC from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tickets ($300 each) and tables for 10 ($2,500 each) can be purchased HERE.
