A new top talent is joining team Pandora: The jewelry brand has appointed Tracey Griffin to the role of chief operating officer for the company’s Americas team. She will lead Pandora’s legal, operations, and IT departments in her new capacity. Most recently, Griffin was senior partner at consulting firm McKinsey & Company, following a stint at Procter & Gamble, where she oversaw a few of the company’s cosmetics brands. Before P&G, Griffin was an analyst at PaineWebber. She attended Georgetown for undergrad and received her MBA from Stanford.

“I had always thought I would go back to an operating role, and Pandora presented the right opportunity at the right time,” Griffin said in a statement. “We have a loyal consumer and a great product and I am looking forward to joining the team and continuing to build the business.”

In her new role, Griffin will report to Pandora Americas’ president, Scott Burger.

“I am thrilled to have Tracey on board,” Burger said in a statement. “Tracey will serve as a key partner to me, working across functional areas to ensure effective execution of day-to-day business activities. She will also help to drive the execution of the strategic priorities and initiatives in the organization.”
