Is Project Runway Done for Good? (Page Six)
Ratings for the latest season of Project Runway have dropped. Additionally the reboot of the show — which stars Karlie Kloss and Christian Siriano as host and mentor, respectively — did not receive any Emmy nominations last week. Many are taking these as signs that Runway will not return for another season. “Karlie is a delight, but without Heidi [Klum] and Tim [Gunn], it just changed the dynamic of everything,” says an insider.

Uniqlo Apologizes to Korean Customers (Business of Fashion)
Uniqlo has issued an apology on its Korean website following comments made by CFO Takeshi Okazaki at an earnings press conference earlier this month. Okazaki said he did not think South Korea’s boycott of Japanese goods amid a trade war would last long. Fast Retailing, Uniqlo’s parent company, said that the company meant that it hoped the boycott would not last long.
Ugg Sues Target (The Fashion Law)
Deckers, the parent company of Ugg, is suing Target for knocking off its shoes. Deckers claims that Target and Iconix Brand Group (which licenses Target’s Mossimo Supply co. brand) is causing confusion with customers. Deckers is suing to stop Target and Iconix from making and selling the shoes, and is also seeking “all gains, profits, and advantages derived from [their ] wrongful acts.”
Rankin to Reflect on His Career With an Exhibit in Milan
British photographer Rankin will reflect on his career in a new exhibit in Milan. Titled RANKIN From Portraiture to Fashion, the show will be a tour through the photographer’s work. In an interesting twist, the show will rotate work to coincide with the city’s cultural events, including the Vogue photo festival in November and Fashion Week in February. From Portraiture to Fashion will be on view from October 18 to February 24, 2019, at the Arts in Progress Gallery in Milan.
Chanel Celebrates Its J12 Yacht Club in the Hamptons
On Saturday, Chanel hosted a special dinner to celebrate the relaunch of its iconic J12 watch collection. Guests including Soo Joo Park, Camila Morrone, Pom Klementieff, and Poppy Delevingne traveled by boat to Shelter Island Sound to experience the J12 Yacht Club. The space featured a Chanel game room, as well as customized umbrellas, coolers, and surf boards. After dinner, Billie Eilish gave an exclusive performance.
Adeam Celebrates the Launch of CR Japan
Last week, Hanako Maeda, founder and creative director of Adeam, co-hosted a lunch with CR Fashion Book to celebrate the launch of CR Japan. Guests like Carine Roitfeld and Eniko Mihalik mingled over champagne and wine before sitting down for a meal at The Pool Lounge.
