by The Daily Front Row

(NEW YORK) Ready for a brief respite from NYFW? On Sunday, DreamWorks Animation with 20th Century Fox & The Cinema Society hosted a screening of Mr. Peabody & Sherman at the Conrad Hotel in the FiDi. The film stars Ty Burrell, who you recognize from Emmy Award winning TV series Modern Family, as the voice of Mr. Peabody and Max Charles, an adorable 10-year-old breakout star, as the voice of Sherman. Both were on hand for the screening, alongside director Rob Minkoff and some notable, film-loving celebs and their chic-lets! Yours truly spotted the likes of Harvey and Daphna Keitel, Julianna Margulies and Keith Lieberthal, Jemima Kirke, Graydon Carter and wife Anna, Padma Lakshmi, Nigel Barker, Richard Kind, Jon and Lizzie Tisch, and Alex Lundqvist. Union Square Events provided the eats and Mr. Peabody himself even made a plush appearance to the delight of attendees of every age—even Brooke Shields couldn’t resist giving him a squeeze…

The film’s cast of voices include Burrell’s Modern Family co-star Ariel Winter, Stanley Tucci, Leslie Mann, Lake Bell, Mel Brooks, and Stephen Colbert; their lively acting talents are the perfect fit for these animated roles. The funny family flick hit the silver screen March 7.
