Maura Lynch Named Beauty & Lifestyle Director at Women’s Health

by Ashley Baker

Seasoned beauty editor Maura Lynch has joined Women’s Health as the brand’s beauty and lifestyle director. Lynch, who most recently served as senior beauty director at InStyle, will oversee all of Women’s Health‘s beauty content, while also spearheading home coverage and top-editing fashion features. “Maura is both a market whiz—able to spot trends before they become trends—as well as a real wordsmith who imbues even the most basic beauty story with wit, freshness, and cultural relevance. As a longtime Women’s Health reader herself, she will craft stories that speak to our audience exactly where they are in their lives,” says editor-in-chief Amy Keller Laird. “Beauty is a huge category for the brand and Maura will be a key contributor for its continued growth.”

“I’ve loved watching Women’s Health evolve under Amy’s leadership, and I share her vision for creating content that empowers readers, which is why I am so excited to join the team,” says Lynch. “The most impactful step in any beauty routine is taking care of yourself, and I want to bring that philosophy to the pages I work on each month, with stories that are as intelligent as they are entertaining.” Women’s Health, launched in 2005 by Rodale Inc., is published ten times a year, and its brand encompasses events, books, apps, and more. It currently publishes 28 editions in 51 countries.
