Matthew Carroll, who served as VP/associate publisher at Travel + Leisure, will join Robb Report as SVP/publisher/head of digital sales on May 2. This is T+C’s second shakeup this month, following the departure of publisher Jay Meyer, who was succeeded by Food +Wine’Joseph Messer last week.

Previously, Carroll was VP, business lead for Wallpaper US, where he oversaw the U.S. expansion of the architecture and design publication, and served as SVP/group publisher at Modern Luxury Media for its 45-plus geo-centric publications. He has also worked in the sales department at Gilt City and in media at Tribune Company.

“With a professional reputation within the publishing and advertising sales industry that far proceeds him, Matthew brings a proven track record of driving exponential sales growth, and developing talented, successful executive teams,” said David Arnold, the company’s EVP/publishing director. “Matthew will lead the publishing charge for Robb Report—our namesake print publication, and build upon the exponential growth of RobbReport.com and the Robb Report Luxury Group.”

“I am extremely excited to be joining Robb Report and their incredible team,” said Carroll. “Robb Report has been the preeminent leader in luxury for 40 years and I look forward to building on that foundation and working closely with Robb Report’s accomplished executive team to bolster that leading position and further expand the brand on all platforms.”
