Kiehl’s and Derek Zoolander Partner for an Anti-Aging Center

by Sydney Sadick

Is there anything Derek Zoolander can’t do? The fourth consecutive winner as “Male Model of the Year” is now partnering with Kiehl’s Since 1851. Tomorrow, the cosmetics brand is introducing The Derek Zoolander Center for People Who Don’t Age Good (DZCFPWDAG), a state-of-the-art anti-aging center in NYC’s Meatpacking Direct, on the busy corner of 8th Avenue and 14th Street. The site was hand-picked by the mod, naturally, to be in close proximity to the area’s night clubs, fitness studios and, according to Kiehl’s, “some ridiculously good looking people.”

“Kiehl’s is excited to partner with Derek in the release of his latest film, Zoolander No. 2,” said Chris Salgardo, president at Kiehl’s Since 1851 US. “Derek’s passion for having ridiculously good-looking skin inspired us to collaborate on The Derek Zoolander Center for People Who Don’t Age Good. We’re thrilled to be able to share this experience with New York City and encourage visitors to put their best face forward.”

Clients at the center can expect to be guided along their youthification journey by, again, “ridiculously googling and supple-skinned male models,” who will explain a multi-step program that targets a specific aging ailment (i.e. phalangeal preservation, scents or sensibility test, or decontamination, among others). Each experience will feature the application of Kiehl’s products.

The Center will be open to the public Tuesday, February 9; Thursday, February 11 (4 – 8 p.m.); Friday, February 12 (3 – 9 p.m.); and Saturday, February 13 (12 – 6 p.m.). Special limited-edition Kiehl’s x Zoolander 2 skincare sets will be available for purchase at The Center, along with other Kiehl’s customer favorites.
