Last night, IFC Films and The Cinema Society hosted a screening of Disorder, a new thriller starring Diane Kruger with award-winning director Alice Winocour. Matthias Schoenaerts plays Vincent, a troubled, unstable Afghanistan veteran who becomes bodyguard to the wife (played by Kruger) and son of a wealthy Lebanese business man on the French Riviera. He’s challenged with determining which dangers to the family are real and which are fueled by his own paranoia.
Kruger stole the night, and for us, especially on the fashion front, wearing a floral black and red mini frock by Alexander McQueen and Chopard baubles (her earrings are major, major, major!). Guests who came out to support Kruger and the film included many from the fashion scene, like Georgina Chapman, Prabal Gurung, Taryn Manning, Heidi Mount, Fern Mallis, and Laura Michelle Kelly. The gang headed on over to the after-party at Jimmy at the James Hotel, where there was no shortage of Line 39 wine and Qui tequila cocktails called Riviera Intrigue and Nightwatch, in keeping with the film, but of course.
