Bergdorf Goodman's Holiday Windows Unveiling Wows The Crowd

By  |  0 Comments

Leapin’ lizards! Bergdorf Goodman raised the bar last night moments before they unveiled their “Holidays on Ice” windows on Fifth Avenue. The store had a performance by STREB Extreme Action Company, a Brooklyn-based troupe. Five acrobatic dancers descended the building in front of a delighted (and somewhat scared!) crowd of onlookers. The troupe came out of the windows of the store and walked on the building before eventually flying over the street until landing on the sidewalk. Brilliant! Let us give a massive round of applause to the genius who came up with this idea. Andy Cohen and Linda Fargo were on hand to reveal the windows. Stay tuned for our chat with David Hoey, BG’s senior director of visual presentation, aka the mastermind behind the windows.
