Exec news at a hallowed French maison: Patrick Thomas stepped down today from his longtime role as chief executive officer at HermÃ¨s International. The 66-year-old CEO will be retiring this year. As for Thomas' successor? It'll be someone Thomas has worked quite closely with, who's got deep HermÃ¨s ties of his own. Thomas will hand over the reins to Axel Dumas, who has served as co-CEO of HermÃ¨s alongside Thomas since last June.
