(NEW YORK) Burberry has added a new post to their recently restructured label: Jenna Littler has been appointed to senior vice president of marketing and communications for Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa (EMEIA region). The title covers marketing and communications across PR, digital marketing, corporate relations, brand events, and media buying. She will begin the new position in January 2014 and will continue reporting to Sarah Manley, the CMO, as well as Andrew Maag, the brand’s chief executive for the EMEIA area.
Littler joined Burberry as the director of corporate relations in 2010, two years later, she was named VP of PR and corporate relations. Littler’s rise through the plaid-adoring label’s ranks followed the departure of Justin Cooke, who spent nearly six years at Burberry as VP of global public relations; Cooke went on to become chief marketing officer at Topshop. Prior to her time at Burberry, Littler held a post in external relations at McKinsey & Company. Earlier this month, Burberry tapped Luc Goidadin as chief design officer, also a fresh position at the company. The hire was made by the label’s chief creative officer, Christopher Bailey, who is adding the CEO role to his duties come spring.
