Waris Ahluwalia's Superluxe Venetian Project

by The Daily Front Row

You know Waris Ahluwalia for his jewelry line and his keen sartorial flair (and perhaps for his Wes Anderson cameos, too). But now it’s time to embrace him as a curator; the New Yorker has curated a shop in Venice’s Gritti Palace. Ahluwalia, who covers Lifestyle Mirror’s Men Style section, explains that his boutique, House of Waris Rare, which opened in November, is stocked with purely luxury goods. And the reason for that? “My belief is that craftsmanship is the last bastion of hope for humanity,” Ahluwalia explained. If that’s not reason enough to go shopping, then perhaps the mag’s photo shoot will provide a reason or two.
