After 17 years chez Calvin Klein, Inc., the label’s CEO, Tom Murry, is retiring at the end of 2014. The company’s current president and chief commercial officer, Steve Shiffman, will succeed Murry. Before Murry bids adieu, he will assume the role of executive chairman on July 1, and will aid in Murry’s segue from CCO to CEO.

Fred Gehring is ending his tenure as CEO of Tommy Hilfiger and Phillips-Van Heusen Corp.’s international unit. PVH is the conglomerate that owns both Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein. By the end of next year, Ghering will become the chairman of Hilfiger and the vice chairmain of PVH and will oversee PVH chairman and CEO Emanuel Chirico. Daniel Grieder will succeed Ghering as CEO of Tommy Hilfiger, but will keep his role as CEO of PVH Europe.
