We’ve got some happy, happy, happy, happy, happy, news…Pharrell Williams is set to release a scent with Comme des Garçon hitting stores in September. The perfume, “GIRL”, shares the same title as his new album released this week. This isn’t his first foray into the world of design with Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream labels, an eyewear collab with Moncler, a capsule collection for Louis Vuitton, and a dabble in denim with G-Star Raw and Bionic Yarn on his CV. No word on whether an oversized Vivienne Westwood hat will be included with the purchase of a bottle, but one can hope.

Takashi Murakami busted out that hat (for lack of a better word) again last night in Miami. The artist changed shirts and suspenders, but kept things fun in the head department by putting on one of his own creations. He was out and about at the Miami Design District Rooftop for an evening he curated with Pharrell Williams, presented by Samsung Ultra HD TV and hosted by Silencio.

Last night Moncler opened their new 3,428-square-feet space on Rue Faubourg du Saint Honoré which houses their new Paris flagship store as well as the brand’s offices and showroom. Pharrell Williams who was on hand for the occasion, along with chairman Remo Ruffini.”I don’t know if I’m in Paris, the year 2020, or if I’m in Asia in the year 2050,” Pharrell remarked.

Rihanna has signed model Erin Wasson to come on board her upcoming reality show, Styled To Rock, for the Style Network. Wasson will join Pharrell Williams as a mentor to aspiring designers who get to dress RiRi for a high profile event. A few other perks are thrown in there, too. The show hasn’t started filming yet, but is set to air later this year.
