Hey, y’all! Chanel’s not the only brand spending some time in The Lone Star State this week. Last night, Joseph Altuzarra, Eddie Borgo, Greg Chait of the Elder Statesman, Alejandro Ingelmo, Adam Shulman of James Banks, Elisabeth Weinstock, Erin Wasson, Cameron Silver, Leigh Lezark, and even Anne Hathaway were in Dallas, Texas for the Forty Five Ten, Farfetch, and Atelier Swarovski’s “Dallas Salute To Paris” event.

Karl Lagerfeld took the Chanel Pre-Fall show back to its retail roots by staging its runway show in Dallas this season. The iconic Parisian brand has a storied history with the city dating back to 1957, when Stanley Marcus of Neiman Marcus gave a big Southern welcome to Coco Chanel’s 1954 comeback collection, even as Parisians scoffed at the wares.

Howdy, Kristen Stewart! The Twilight star gets a very plum gig as the face of Chanel’s upcoming Métiers d’Art Paris-Dallas collection. She was in Dallas, Texas yesterday to watch the unveiling of the collection that also brought Anna Wintour, Lauren Hutton, Zoe Kravitz, and Dakota Fanning to the rodeo.
