Welcome, chéries, to the second and final part to The Daily’s Art Basel 2015 insider’s guide. By now, many of the festivities are in full-force (and if you missed our first edition, chock full of hotel parties, private dinners, and live-art installations, get to it). Let’s have a look at what remains…

 

Wednesday, 12/2

Nautilus Hotel Private Dinner
Intel: Artist forum Artsy and Nautilus, a SIXTY hotel, are hosting a private dinner at the hotel’s Driftwood Room terrace, with a menu created by chef Alex Guarnaschelli. Stick around for the beachside afterparty at the Cabana Club Beach Tent.
Location: Nautilus Hotel, 1825 Collins Ave Miami Beach. Invite only.

G-Star RAW and WeTransfer’s ‘Tone To Transfer’ Series
Intel: G-Star kicks off its 20th anniversary celebration with this even, which features exclusive artwork by Greg Lamarche (he’s creating an original piece that will unveiled at the event and is inspired by G-Star’s Elwood denim design). Jasmine Solano is on DJ duty.
Location: Brisky Gallery, 7-10 p.m.

Architectural Digest and 1 Hotel South Beach’s “Refuge”
Intel: The two have teamed up to present “Refuge,” an exhibition of five large outdoor art installations commissioned for Art Basel. On display: works by Miami native Michele Oka Doner, Hilary Harnischfeger, Robert Lazzarini, Philippe Malouin, and Carlos Rolón/Dzine.
Location: 1 Hotel, December 2-6, 12-6 p.m. Open to the public.

Ethikal Market at 1 Hotel
Intel: Shop this “all good things” market with brands like Maiyet, Accompany, Victorine, and AUrate.
Location: 1 Hotel, lobby, December 1-5, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

QIC Global Real Estate and Farfetch Dinner
Intel: Dine and celebrate at Casa de Suenos, the home of JR and Loren Ridinger. Roksanda Illincic and artist Ella Kruglyanskaya invite close friends to applaud House of Voltaire (which recently joined Farfetch) at NADA Miami Beach.
Location: Invite only.

Poolside Collective, BIKYNI, and Pinkertons Swimwear Pop-up
Intel: Forgot to pack your trunks? Fret not—try one of the styles at this poolside pop-up.

“Pratt Presents” Women of Influence in the Business of Art
Intel: Join for a pre-event reception with champagne cocktails, followed by a panel discussion and post-even reception, with more champagne! TIME:

NOWNESS and The Miami Beach Edition
Intel: Head to the hotel for the premiere screening of Future Relic 05, a film by Daniel Arsham. Following is an afterparty replete with libations and dancing at the Basement Bowl. Hosts of the evening are the filmmaker himself and Jefferson Hack, with tunes by A-Trak.

Tumblr’s Shack-tacular!
Intel: Swing by for art by Marc Dennis and special treats from Shake Shack.

Galore’s Basel Bombshells Party with Tumblr and Delmar Swim
Intel: Dance and swim the night away with a special performance by Miguel and DJ sets by Mia Moretti, Chelsea Leyland, YESJULZ, and Sam French.

Vanity Fair Social Club
Intel: Listen in as VF.com editor Matt Lynch chats with designer Yves Béhar. For the second act, make-up artist Gloria Elias-Foeillet discusses her recent work on Missy Elliott’s music video for WTF (Where They From) with VF contributor Brett Berk, Last up for the day is @NeueHouse Presents Artist Pictionary with the Haas Brothers, a twist on the classic party game, led by the artist and design duo, the Haas Brothers

Cocktails with Valentino
Intel: Celebrate with Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, and check out Mirabilia Romae, an installation in the Miami Design District by Italian artist Pietro Ruffo.

The Art of Opulence Kick Off Event
Intel: Organized by The People’s Influence with The ONE Group and ME by Meliá, this event will be hosted by Shark Tank’s Daymond John, showcasing artists HAVI Schanz, Ju Reams, and Delano Brown, as well as photographer Alberto Van Stokkum. Anticipate visual stimulation, a Ferrari being painted indoors, and delicacies by STK Rebel.

Bounce Pop-Up
Intel: NYC’s sports meet nightlife space, Bounce Sporting Club, is partnering up with sbe Entertainment’s Hyde Beach Miami for a pop-up party, including beats by Dalton and a surprise special guest performance. Also on tap: a live art installation by Jay West, known for his collabs with Alicia Keys, Wale, Porsche, BMW, Puma, and Heineken.

Vanity Fair Social Club
Intel: First, join V.F. for @NeueHouse Presents Laurie Anderson’s Heart of a Dog film screening, followed by a Q&A with the artist, director, composer, and performance artist led by the mag’s Deputy Editor, Matt Lynch. Later on, visit Style (and Power) to the People, where Jory Des Jardins, co-founder of BlogHer and Jessica Teves, StyleCaster editor-in-chief discuss the impact and influence of Internet culture on trendsetting and spotting.

Tumblr’s 4th Annual Basel Brunch honoring Dustin Yellin

Exhale South Beach Presents: Body, Art + Movement
Intel: NYC artist Jeremy Penn will paint live during the Exhale two-hour long Flow Yoga class, set to a live DJ, of course. Hang around for acra-yoga demonstration, mini spa therapies by exhale including chair massage, temporary tattoos, a braid bar by Glam & Go, ear seeding, polish changes and nail art. $10 for exhale members / $15 for non-members

Saturday 12/5

Vanity Fair Social Club
Intel: Session one includes a conversation between VF.com deputy editor Matt Lynch and Caroline Perzan, set decorator of Empire. Next up, Lizza Morales talks to Amanda Oleander, Persicope star and artist. The last session of the day, @NeueHouse Presents Nonny de la Pena, includes an interactive demonstration and conversation with the journalist and virtual reality pioneer.

Wall at the W Hotel
Intel: A private event hosted by artist Domingo Zapata and Gran Centenario Tequila celebrates their collaboration for the “Angels on Earth” program, which supports the artists in the Latino community. Two angel wings painted by Zapata will be auctioned off, and proceeds will go to Miami art organizations and Miami Children’s Hospital.

Interview Magazine’s Sunset BBQ
Intel: Artsy (an artist collective), Sandro, and Interview magazine host a sunset BBQ poolside at the Nautilus Cabana Club, with a performance by Canadian dance outfit Art Department.

Sunday, 12/6

A+E District’s Basel Miami Flea
Intel: This market, which features handmade and vintage goods from the city’s best vendors, goes beyond the average flea and includes hands-on activities, workshops, mind and body classes, and a live art tent with demonstrations and performances.
