Target Pairs Up With Lilly Pulitzer

Last night, Target unveiled their latest collaboration at the pool room of the Four Seasons restaurant: Lilly Pulitzer is the latest brand to collaborate with the mass retailer on a collection of ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories, home products, and beachwear. Editors came in from the snowy streets into a summer paradise designed by David Stark, which included models lounging beneath beach umbrellas or reclining on hammocks all decked out in Lilly Pulitzer’s signature prints in punchy colors like lime green, bubble gum pink, and sky blue. It made us want to start planning our summer vacation ASAP!

The collab’s highlights? Tableware products like glasses, place mats and napkins in Lilly Pulitzer prints plus gold bar accoutrements like flasks, bottle openers shaped like pineapples, and stirrers topped off with fish. Lilly Pulitzer herself was a Palm Beach socialite, after all, and she certainly knew how to entertain in style. The gold- floral espadrilles were also a must (check them out on our Instagram @dailyfrontrow). “We were brainstorming about what kind of design partnership for Spring and our customers always respond to bright colors and vibrant prints,” said Stacia Anderson, SVP of apparel and accessories for Target. “We really wanted to do something outdoor and resort oriented, and the logical brand that came to mind was Lily Pulitzer. They’re really the originators of resort wear! A marriage was born, and here we are a year later.” The Lilly Pulitzer for Target collaboration will be available in stores and online at Target.com starting April 19th.
