Meadham Kirchhoff's Teen Fantasy

by The Daily Front Row

Another morsel from the London runways! Complete with big red hearts, gold streamer curtains, and bright purple bows, Meadham Kirchhoff’s latest runway set recreated every teenage girl’s dream. Even the air in the Tate Modern Turbine Hall was scented with hints of the brand’s latest perfume collab with Penhaligon, called Tralala. As for the clothes? They matched that ulta-fem aesthetic, with frothy tulles in pastel hues, cotton candy-eque tweeds, and metallic Rainbow Brite boots. The most grown-up of the lot was a holographic snakeskin skirt and lacy lingerie used as layering pieces. You can always count on Kirchhoff to go over the top, undeniably youthful, and kitschy to the hilt.
