Lacoste is the latest brand that will decamp to Paris next season. “Lacoste goes back to its roots and crosses the Atlantic in order to celebrate the brand’s 85th birthday by presenting the SS18 collection next September during the Paris Fashion Week,” read a press statement. “After 13 years spent walking down the New York runways, Lacoste leaves the capital of sportswear to hold its fashion show in France. This event illustrates the brand’s desire to capitalize on its legacy and highlights the very nature of its DNA, namely, effortless French elegance.”
Lacoste is the fourth brand to announce it will be showing in Paris. Rodarte, Hood By Air, and Proenza Schouler have also laid plans to ditch New York Fashion Week for Paris Fashion Week.
