Happy Jewelers: A Family Jewelry Storefront Making Big Waves

by LBE

Once Gabe finished high school, he attended his first college class at California State University, Fullerton, but walked out within 20 minutes. He went home and told his parents that school was not for him, as he wanted to open up his own jewelry store. So, in the year 2000, when Gabe was just 18 years old, he opened up Happy Jewelers in a small booth inside a jewelry mart in Fullerton, CA. It has grown exponentially since then. Happy Jewelers functions with a professional, yet welcoming environment. They provide some of the most highly rated jewelry in Orange County, California, and always deliver on what they promise to their clients.  “We own our own manufacturing facility in Downtown Los Angeles, so we control the quality, timing, and pricing,” Gabe Arik shares. “We don’t go through a third party to have our pieces made. All of our pieces are made by our team only.” This high level of control for a family-owned business is seemingly unheard of, no matter the industry. Being in charge of and owning their manufacturing process allows for Happy Jewelers to create the most cutting-edge, game changing designs for the best prices possible.

On top of this, the position of control that Happy Jewelers is in also gives them full autonomy of customer satisfaction. “The number one reason people from all over the world shop with us, is our quality and service,” Gabe says. “We always go the extra mile for our customers.”  Along with their innovative designs, high quality products, and exquisite customer service, Happy Jewelers also structures their business model on community and charitable ideals. The Arik brothers maintain that there is a necessity to charity and philanthropy that comes along with success. “We are socially mindful and fiscally responsible,” Gabe shares. “Due to Covid, some of the big events have been put on hold, but continue to support our local community and charities in other ways.”

Operating as its very own store-front now, Happy Jewelers has been crafted into something much bigger than Gabe and Danny could have ever envisioned. Aiming to stay ahead of their competition with their unique designs and customization, the Arik brothers are working to expand their product catalog moving forward and, eventually, become the number one jewelry store in America.  Learn more about Happy Jewelers at their website and explore their impressive collection of jewelry via their Instagram.
