Alanui Announces First-Ever Capsule Collection with Colette

by Paige Reddinger

Nicolò and Carlotta Oddi‘s Italian luxury jacquard cardigan label Alanui (Hawaiian for “large path”) has announced its first-ever capsule collection in partnership with Colette. Three oversized cardigans in 100 percent Italian cashmere will be offered in patterns inspired by Native American iconography, as well as the American bandana. The brand will also be introducing its first kidswear collection in the same styles as the adult collection.

“The first time I saw someone wearing one of ALANUI’s cardigans, I immediately asked, ‘What’s this? Where is it coming from? How can I order some?’ They are extremely unique and offer comfort, confidence, and warmness,” said Sarah Andleman, founder and creative director of Colette in a press statement. “We’re very excited by this latest collaboration and we’re super grateful to Nicolò and Carlotta for accepting to do a Kids collection as well!”

“We are proud to present a new step in Alanui’s journey. Colette has always been a point of reference in the fashion world for us and we are very honored to have created a collection for this unique store,” said Nicolò and Carlotta Oddi in a joint statement. “Sarah has supported the brand since the beginning and we are happy to show our first collaboration and our first Alanui Kids collection here. When you step into Colette it feels as if entering a fairytale or living a dreamy trip; that’s why we thought it perfect to introduce ‘cashmere cuddles’ for kids as well.”

The new collection debuts at Colette starting today and will be available in-store through October 30th and online starting today through November 23rd.
