“I’m getting major ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ vibes right now,” a first-timer of Friday night’s Save Venice gala murmured upon entering…
Who was that masked man? The always entertaining and deeeeep Di Mondo stole the show again at the Save Venice ball at the Pierre Hotel on Friday night in a mask of epic detail. “It took me 120 hours to make it and there are over 5,000 Swarovski crystals and 7 bottles of the strongest glue ever,” he told us. “There’s even a camera on my forehead that’s documenting everything. I just thought last minute that we had to install a video camera, because I really can’t see.”
Save Venice brought its masked madness to The Pierre on Friday night, and we’re crowning this trifecta of two Michelles (Ochs and Harper) plus Ochs’ design partner in crime, Carly Cushnie, as some of the chicest (and sexiest! Hello, oblique-bearing cutouts) masked revelers of the evening. Viva Venice!
