Givenchy: Hop on board and don’t forget your spacesuit, because Givenchy has an intergalactic adventure in store for the hommes. Riccardo Tisci went cosmic for his Spring 2014 Menswear collection, taking inspiration from the inner workings of a computer, resulting in a catwalk filled with extraterrestrial creatures. Kanye would be pleased with the ample selection of man skirts on show, but he will have to forgo his usual noir-filled palette for something a bit more outlandish.
Couture shows? Ain’t nobody got time for that. At least Riccardo Tisci doesn’t this season. The brand’s creative director is once again skipping the Paris Couture shows due to his busy schedule. One bonus of Tisci getting a little more time on his hands is the news that Givenchy will be reviving their wristwatch collection, which was discontinued in 2009. Gotta stay on track of that busy schedule somehow.
