(NEW YORK) The iconic Alexander McQueen skull print scarf turns 10 this year, and to ring in a decade of the popular piece, 30 limited-edition versions will be released marked with designs by artist Damien Hirst. In line with his “Entomology” series, the chiffon, pongé, twill, and cashmere scarves will be covered in geometric patterns of butterflies, spiders, and other various bugs. Hirst has previously put his mark on other high fashion accessories, most notably decorating a backpack by The Row with an assortment of pills, in addition to covering another style with the colorful dots that have become a Hirst signature. The soon-to-be coveted accessories will hit Alexander McQueen brick and mortar boutiques and the label’s online shop by mid-November. Get ready to preorder!
