The bitter winter breeze nipped at the windows of La Perla’s Madison Ave. location, but inside it was a bit steamier. After all, they were hosting a cocktail party amidst a swish of lacy, yet festive, lingerie and playful bedroom toys. This wasn’t a totally hedonistic affair, though; it was an eve to benefit the New Yorkers for Children.

But once one’s eyes are set on the new Madison Ave. flagship store, all woes will be forgotten. Having shuttered the doors on their Meatpacking district locale right before the weekend started, the new uptown boutique is ready for action as of Monday morning.
