Zoë Kravitz, Tessa Thompson & More Make the Emmys Best Dressed List

by Sydney Sadick

TV’s brightest stars turned up the glamour quotient on the 2017 Emmys red carpet last night, from an abundance of feathers to silver sequins to powerful metallics and beyond! Here a look at the style darlings who were not holding back and topped our Best Dressed List!

Zoë Kravitz: The beauty opted for a sleeveless Dior Haute Couture ombre-feathered gown that faded from shades of rose pink to orange to salmon to yellow at the front, with a few other colors at the back. The cleavage-baring neckline added a sexy element to the dress, which she paired with a diamond double-necklace and earrings.

Tessa Thompson: The Westworld star’s technicolored Rosie Assoulin gown got the internet talking right away—no surprise here! The pleated metallic number made for the perfect red carpet statement, one that certainly required a twirl. We’ll be obsessing over this dress for days!

Nicole Kidman: Kidman, who won Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie for Big Little Lies, turned up the heat in a red-hot Calvin Klein By Appointment pleated-bodice dress. The crystal-rope neckline added just the right amount of glamour. Her stylist Julia von Boehm has her look down to a science!

Millie Bobby Brown: The 13-year-old Stranger Things actress, who was nominated for her role on the hit TV show, also stunned in Calvin Klein—she went for a strapless white dress featuring a white bandana belt tied around her waist, finished with a pair of sparkly kitten heels. Adorable!

Tracee Ellis Ross: Feathers and sequins, oh my! The actress rocked a belted Chanel Haute Couture silver dress with white feathers starting from her knees and ending by her shoes. The look made for a fun moment on the tapis rouge.

Priyanka Chopra: Another feather moment done right on the carpet last night goes to Chopra, who opted for a a Balmain white dress that looks like it was made from a deconstructed quilted duvet embellished with beaded detailing, in a really chic way. As always, Chopra makes it work. She’s a red carpet staple, after all.

Yara Shahidi: Yara Shahidil, all grown up! While we saw a lot of color on last night’s red carpet, this nude, tulle Prada dress embellished with green sequins made for a refreshing and elegant choice on the actress.

Evan Rachel Wood: What would a red carpet be these days without a power-suit moment from Evan Rachel Wood? The actress went for Moschino by Jeremy Scott last night in a a white-out pant-suit. As always, she kills the silhouette—in a good way, of course.

Claire Foy: The Crown star showed the new age of Oscar de la Renta in a black jumpsuit last night in a stretch wool gabardine material embellished with a crystal rope. The simplicity of the jumpsuit pair with a simple red carpet and pulled-back hair brought old Hollywood vibes with a 2017 twist.
