There’s no week like Fashion Week—and sometimes, even we need a break from the bustle and buzz of the city! Luckily, there’s plenty of stylish restaurants, bars, and spas across NYC that make ideally soothing escapes—whether you need a facial, a relaxing meal, or a cocktail. From uptown to downtown, discover some of the insider-beloved hotspots you must visit during NYFW—and all year long.
The New York EDITION
What’s not to love about a luxe hotel, especially during Fashion Week? Located inside the lush heart of the Flatiron District, the New York EDITION‘s spacious halls include its signature Urban Spa, a true escape from NYFW’s most hectic periods. The calming space—where you can place a reservation via phone call or the hotel’s website—features a wide menu of massages, body and facial treatments to soothe, relax, and clarify your skin. In addition to the spa—and especially if it’s cocktail hour—we can’t resist a visit to the hotel’s sleek signature Lobby Bar. The site of numerous NYFW soirées over the years, this chicly lit space features a clean aesthetic and smooth seating that’s best paired with a delicious dirty martini…or two!

The Beekman Hotel’s Temple Court
Nestled in the center of the Financial District, the Beekman Hotel’s Temple Court features a vintage aesthetic that feels like a rich escape to the past. However, the space is decidedly modern, with an assortment of dishes and drinks that you can enjoy at any time of day. We especially love their charred eggplant dip, ricotta cavatelli, or shishito peppers, ideally alongside a signature cocktail inspired by NYC stars like Marisa Tomei or Jessica Pressler. With rich leathers, gleaming chandeliers, and soaring walls of archival books, the Court forms an easygoing haven you must visit if you’re in the area—complete with eye-catching views of the hotel’s viral 10-story atrium.

Silver Mirror Facial Bar
Now that more shows are taking place in Hudson Yards, we’ve gotten to know the neighborhood more intimately—and Silver Mirror Facial Bar is a true standout. Located at Manhattan West Plaza, this relaxing space is a quiet break from the busy streets and crowds mere steps away, with its clean white walls and curtained spa stations. Specialty facials focused on anti-aging, hydration, sensitivity, and more skin concerns can all be found here—and, especially during our busy Fashion Week schedules, can be tailored with 30, 50, or 90-minute intervals. If you need a faster pick-me-up, complete with expert guidance from onsite specialists, the facial bar also includes a shop filled with dermatologist-approved skincare—including its signature cleanser, moisturizer, serum, and viral two-step Signature Facial set.

The Times Square EDITION’s Terrace and Outdoor Gardens
If you find yourself in the busy center of Times Square—or just need a break before your next show!—you can find a chic haven inside the Times Square EDITION. The glamorous hotel’s signature Terrace and Outdoor Gardens are crafted as a true oasis, filled with garden-worthy greenery that feels miles away from Manhattan. The modern space’s soft red velvet, glossy black marble, and shining mirrors create an enchanting escape that’s perfect for breakfast, dinner, or a speedy lunch. Don’t forget to check out its special Sunset Menu, which features mini martinis, oysters Rockefeller, and more offerings perfect for watching the sky’s colors shift over Manhattan.

Soho Diner
For a dash of retro cool—and tasty bites—take a step inside the Soho Diner. Adjacent to the beloved Soho Grand Hotel, this downtown hotspot’s delectable fare includes a range of favorites, plus seasonal specialties that make for a tasty respite between runway shows across the neighborhood. We’re partial to their zucchini chips, turkey club sandwich, crispy cheese curds, or all-day brunch menu—but you can never go wrong with a classic grilled cheese and hearty tomato soup. If you have a little extra time, be sure to go next door to visit the chic Soho Grand Gallery, which features enriching exhibits from artists like Bob Mackie, Norman Reedus, Dustin Pittman, and more.
