On Monday night, the CFDA’s Steven Kolb, J.Mendel’s Gilles Mendel, Kelly Ripa, Rosie Assoulin, and Mara Hoffman will be donning their finest spandex. Pourquoi? The CFDA is hosting a charity ride at SoulCycle’s West 19th Street outpost in NYC hosted by Ripa to benefit Fashion Targets Breast Cancer at 8:30 p.m. A ride at the sweat mecca’s Beverly Hills location will occur simultaneously (at 5:30 p.m. PST), hosted by Maria Sharapova, who’s a Fashion Targets Breast Cancer ambassador, along with co-hosts Jennifer Meyer and Band of Outsiders’ Scott Sternberg. The likes of Rachel Roy and Irene Neuwirth are expected to be tapping it back out west. Fashion Targets Breast Cancer was founded two decades ago by Ralph Lauren (expect his son David Lauren to be at Monday’s NYC ride, as well as daughter-in-law Lauren Bush Lauren). Any interest in perspiring in such tony company? A few bikes are still available—we hear there are some front row perches up for grabs, FYI—so head over to CFDA.com to snag a spot.
