Former Vogue Staffer Charged With Stealing Over $50K From Grace Coddington (NY Post)
Yvonne Bannigan has been arrested and charged with stealing more than $50,000 from former Vogue creative director Grace Coddington. According to Bannigan’s LinkedIn page, she worked as Grace’s assistant from February 2016 until her arrest last month. During that time, Bannigan racked up $53,564 in unauthorized purchases on Coddington’s credit card. She is also accused of pocketing $9,000 from the sale of Coddington’s personal property on TheRealReal.
“We believe there’s been a misunderstanding which we hope will be sorted out,” Bannigan’s attorney Michael Cornacchia told the Post. “She has no prior record… She didn’t do anything wrong.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Returning $9 Million Worth of Wedding Gifts (Cosmopolitan)
Fedex is about to have a busy few weeks. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are returning every single one of the thousands of unsolicited wedding presents they received from people they don’t know. Innumerable random businesses sent the couple wedding gifts, ostensibly in hopes of getting a Markle bump or royal endorsement of some kind. The packages are being sent back as soon as they arrive at the newlyweds Kensington Palace doorstep, per royal protocol. Members of the royal family are forbidden from accepting gifts from people or businesses they don’t personally know. The official guideline states: “Gifts offered by private individuals living in the U.K. not personally known to the Member of the Royal Family should be refused where there are concerns about the propriety or motives of the donor or the gift itself.”
Kim Kardashian West Takes Washington (Page Six)
Kim Kardashian West visited Donald Trump in the oval office on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in the most jarringly 2018 photo ever created.

Kardashian West requested the sit-down to discuss pardoning Alice Marie Johnson, an imprisoned drug offender she discovered on Twitter. Johnson is a great-grandmother and a first-time, non-violent offender who was convicted of drug conspiracy. Johnson was sentenced to life in 1997 after she admitted to acting as an intermediary for drug dealers. Kardashian West believes Johnson has paid her debt to society after 21 years behind bars and deserves clemency. “Happy Birthday Alice Marie Johnson. Today is for you,” she tweeted before arriving in Washington, as well as a thank you to President Trump after their meeting.
Happy Birthday Alice Marie Johnson. Today is for you 🙏🏼✨

I would like to thank President Trump for his time this afternoon. It is our hope that the President will grant clemency to Ms. Alice Marie Johnson who is serving a life sentence for a first-time, non-violent drug offense.

We are optimistic about Ms. Johnson’s future and hopeful that she —and so many like her—will get a second chance at life.

Johnson sent Kardashian West a lengthy thank you letter afterwards, which the beauty mogul posted on her InstaStories.
Alaïa to Throw Party For Bruce Weber, Despite Scandal (Page Six)
Alaïa is reportedly throwing a book party on June 20th at its Paris headquarters to toast Bruce Weber for his work in “Azzedine, Bruce, Joe.” According to the invitation, Weber will be on-hand at the event to sign copies of the book. In a New York Times investigative piece that ran in January, Weber was accused of preying on male models, groping them on set, and making other unwelcome passes. The story effectively halted the photographer’s career at Condé Nast and virutally all of his other major clients cut ties. Weber has always denied the claims and obviously the people at Alaïa have chosen to believe him, despite all the evidence to the contrary.

This will be the first child for Kruger and second for Reedus, who has an 18-year-old son, Mingus, with his ex Helena Christensen.
