Vanessa Bruno, perhaps best known for those glitzy suede tote bags that nearly every Parisian girl carries about, won’t be at showing in the city of lights this season. The label’s been on the PFW schedule since September 2006; Bruno launched the brand a decade earlier. Bruno was a model before foray into design. Besides the runway, her former gigs include singer and actress. A spokesperson for the brand told WWD: “We are taking a break [from shows] to reposition our communications strategy.” Hopefully we’ll see you next season, Vanessa!
