Tom Ford Beauty Opens First-Ever Standalone Store in London

by Paige Reddinger

Tom Ford Beauty has opened its first-ever standalone boutique in London. Located in the historic Covent Garden neighborhood at 3 The Market Building, the store reflects Tom Ford’s immaculate eye and attention to detail inherent in all of his existing boutiques. The store is comprised of light and layered grey glass sculpture that highlights the collection of makeup, skincare and his coveted fragrances for men and women. LED screens line the façade with the latest campaigns and halos of light and marble slabs serve as the presentation for the product.

The ground floor houses all of the latest beauty launches and allows customers to virtually try on shades from the lip color collection (a bonus for germaphobes!). It also is home to Tom Ford fragrances and features and interactive scenting installation where guests can explore and experiment with the Private Blend Collection, as well as a dramming bar for customized services like scent styling. Men’s skincare and grooming collections are also housed on the ground floor. Plus, an intimate room offers personalized makeup services that allows customers to record their makeup applications for a personalized video tutorial that is sent along with a shopping list of products used during the appointment.
Just below the ground floor, on the lower level, a private makeup room will be available for the more discreet clientele in search of appointment-only services with Tom Ford Beauty specialists.
The boutique also has an event space for private fragrance and one-to-one consultations and a grooming room for men offers a range of exclusive services from an expert barber including a beard trim, an express facial, and a classic hot towel and close-cut we shave.
If you’re in London—or even planning a visit—consider this a must.
