Marcus Lemonis and Lisa Shaller-Goldberg Set to Launch New Brand “Threads of Privilege” at Coterie

by The Daily Front Row

Marcus Lemonis of CNBC’s “The Profit” has partnered with Lisa Shaller-Goldberg, president and creative director of Minnie Rose, to launch contemporary brand Threads of Privilege.

Retailing from $350 to $650, the range is features cashmere separates with a streetwear focus: soft zip-up hoodies, track suiting and oversized pullovers. Customers and buyers will get the first IRL look at the collection when it officially drops at next week’s Coterie tradeshow at the Jacob Javits Center. The Threads of Privilege space, booth 5449, is situated directly across from the Minnie Rose booth.

It’s a sort of homecoming for Lemonis and Shaller-Goldberg who met at Coterie three years ago.  Shaller-Goldberg was previously a top brand builder, driving Juicy Couture, Ugg Austrailia, and True Religion to success before launching her own line Minnie Rose, which she is still the creative director of.

Lemonis, whose Marcus Lemonis Fashion Group is financing the Threads of Privilege capsule, is an entrepreneur turned reality TV star. On CNBC’s “The Profit,” he lends his expertise to struggling small businesses around the country and judges businesses based on a “Three P” principle: People, Process, and Product. He has spent the last few years expanding his collection of fashion businesses with such brands as Inkkas Worldwear, Flex Watches, Printed Village and Susana Monaco. He also owns several national fashion retail chains including Marcus, Denim & Soul and Runway, all of which will offer the Threads of Privilege capsule. The line is expected to be carried in specialty boutiques around the country.
