Founded by Tash Greizen, owner and CEO of NOW Media, The Circle is a private collective that began as a small network and has since become a selective group of accomplished individuals. Drawing from her background in communications, brand development, and entrepreneurship, Greizen established the guiding principles of The Circle: discretion, accountability, and leadership. The group has since grown organically, attracting women who value substance and want authentic alliances rather than traditional networking opportunities. Entrepreneur Dr. Violet Zahedi, a close friend of Greizen, has also been a supportive presence in the group’s development.
These concepts were on full display during The Circle’s recent private dinner event held on Wednesday, April 8th, at the iconic Yamashiro in Hollywood. Hosted in Yamashiro’s Koi Garden, the evening was intimate and impactful, with attendees arriving in understated luxury ensembles. The guest list included a mix of accomplished professionals and peers, including Dr. Violet Zahedi, Grace Flannery, Dr. Tania Hassanzadeh, Courtney Marchesano, Daisy Lengkong, Madison Dixon, Zuzi Szokeova, Daria Boichenko, Galina Sobolev, Mariam Hakopyan, Tash Greizen, Anna Riabokon, and Marcella Guidry. Each attendee brought professional insight and mutual respect, complemented by a stylish presentation that matched the tone of the evening.

Yamashiro, often referred to as the “mountain palace,” was the perfect host for the evening. For over a century, the historic property has drawn guests to the Hollywood Hills with its panoramic views and distinctive ambiance. Its history and peaceful setting align with The Circle’s preference for environments that inspire genuine dialogue. Since being taken over by Boulevard Hospitality Group (BHG), Yamashiro has continued to evolve under the direction of its culinary team, honoring its heritage while also appealing to modern sensibilities.
The Circle’s gatherings are intentionally private, often taking place in homes, salons, or discreet venues across Los Angeles, such as Yamashiro. These settings are chosen for their ability to facilitate uninterrupted conversation. Meetings are typically long-format, allowing discussions to naturally unfold and enable members to explore professional challenges and personal aspirations in a supportive environment. Unlike traditional organizations, The Circle does not maintain a public roster or application process. Membership is highly selective, based on alignment of values and the potential for meaningful contribution. This exclusivity preserves the integrity of the group’s dynamic and ensures that every participant adds value. While The Circle is centered on women, it also welcomes men as respected counterparts when appropriate. These invitations are extended with the intention of collaborative progress, reflecting the group’s broader commitment to moving professional relationships beyond conventional boundaries, where the ladies in power indulge in fashion by conscious choices and quiet luxury pieces.
Tash Greizen’s background in communications and brand development has played a significant role in The Circle’s identity. Through her work with NOW PR Agency and NOW Magazine Los Angeles, Greizen has developed a strong understanding of brand positioning and influence. Within The Circle, she oversees partnerships throughout Los Angeles and globally, while also maintaining final approval for new members, ensuring that each addition aligns with the group’s values.
Ultimately, The Circle is about creating a trusted environment for individuals who have already achieved significant professional success and want continued growth and collaboration. Members frequently come together to support initiatives that hold personal significance, often extending their influence to charitable causes and community-driven projects. The Yamashiro dinner was a clear reflection of what The Circle represents, a place where accomplished individuals could step away from the demands of their industries and engage in unguarded conversation, all while embodying a refined sense of style.
