Talbots Makes Their NYFW Debut

Talbots stepped up their game this season with a presentation at the Lafayette Grand Café and Bakery, which they rebranded for the day under the moniker “Café Talbots.” The Massachusetts-based company famous for their classic American sportswear with a distinctly New England flare, showcased the latest offerings from their Fall 2026 collection, full of stripes, animal print, and a rich assortment of outerwear that people unfamiliar with the brand would do well to check out.

Special appearances included co-host supermodel Niki Taylor, actress Justine Lupe from Succession and Nobody Wants This, and Gretchen Mol, best known from Boardwalk Empire and Rounders, all modeling the collection’s must-see looks.

Guests left sporting a “City Chic” embroidered tote filled with Talbots accessories and Café Lafayette’s famous circular, cream-filled Suprême croissants. Or in our case, two of their famous circular, cream-filled Suprême croissants. And a baguette. WHo says fashion people don’t eat carbs! Besides, it’s fashion week. We need our energy.
