At last eve’s third annual WSJ. Innovator Awards at the MoMA, Gisele Bündchen was on hand to a) fete the mag’s November issue, which she appears on the cover of, flanked by Daft Punk b) saunter on stage during the Awards with the helmet-clad musicians as they got honored c) look ravishing in a spangled, plunging midnight blue Versace mini.

With an early call time of 2 a.m., Josie Natori debuted her N Natori collection live on HSN this morning. The desginer created a brightly-hued ready-to-wear collection in an assortment of flattering silhouettes, complimented with a selection of her signature loungewear for ladies of all shapes and sizes. We spotted chicly gussied-up, chapeau-sporting Sarah Kate Watson-Baik at show after show, interviewing all the front row folks the crowds got into tizzies over (and being interviewed and photographed aplenty as well). Finally, curiosity took over and a between-shows chat was in store. Turns out, Watson-Baik is a West Coast-bred expat, hat designer, stylist, and TV host with some intriguing insights on becoming a Seoulite.

Joan Collins talks to Michael Musto for Out magazine about her mass appeal in the gay community. “Gay people love glamorous women, and I think I’m glamorous,” she explains. “And I’m not blowing my own trumpet, but I’ve been told it often enough. Also, they know I’m a nice person, haha.” Love! She also comments on the secret to her longevity in the business.

Didn’t see this coming…Meredith Melling Burke has departed Vogue where she’s been a part of the family since 1997, reports WWD’s Erik Maza. The senior market editor and occasional Vogue talking head on the daytime TV circuit will be pursuing an unknown venture with Vogue bookings editor Valerie Boster, who is also leaving the glossy.

An articulate and healthy-looking John Galliano sat down with Charlie Rose on PBS last night for his first TV interview since the incident that ruined his career. “I apologize. And I am trying to make amends in the best way that I can,” Galliano told him. Rose’s show has released a small snippet of the interview.
