Harper’s Bazaar’s new executive editor, Stephen Mooallem, formerly of Interview, might not be the most quotable or quirky editor in fashion, but he definitely gets the job done.

More shakeups chez Hearst: Harper’s Bazaar executive editor Kimberly Cutter is parting ways with the magazine. Cutter has been with Bazaar for one year, and is bidding adieu to spend time penning her second novel. Her first book, The Maid, was based on the life of Joan of Arc and was published in October 2011. Cutter’s successor is Stephen Mooallem, who is leaving his post as editor-in-chief at Interview to join Bazaar.
