On Friday, Leavitt attended an investment meeting where he told analysts he expects brand sales to hit the $2 billion mark in the next four years and eventually reach $4 billion. Sales from last year put the company at revenues of $461.9 million and the brand continues to expand with international pushes, plus a foray into home goods. And the home goods are just topping off what the brand already has on offer, which includes legwear, stationary, and watches.
Ralph Lauren: A la vielile Russie! China, Spain, and now Russia: Mr. Lauren truly takes his inspiration from le monde, darlings. In the latest transportive, wanderlust-inducing jaunt, opulence was the M.O. White ruffled shirts with black neckties, rich velvet dresses in burgundy and forest green, and to-die-for long fur coats and fur ushanka hats were the garb of these gorgeous Dostoyevsky-esque dames. Eveningwear came in regal ruched and ruflle-skirted gowns with fur and feather stoles, with drame underpinning the whole spate of looks. The finale? A snowy champagne beaded tulle gown with a shearling capelet and matching hat with opera-length gloves and chandelier earrings, trotted out on Daria Stroukos. Da-ying!
